Fun with little pieces of card stock.

Just a few pictures from school today. First up: Stuart sorts number cards, hastily created by me because I missed something when reading over the math curriculum.

Next up: China, still. This time, we study ancient China by making and playing with tangrams. This involved coloring AND cutting AND building stuff according to preplanned patterns. Stuart is in heaven! (Note: he has owned a travel tangrams set for YEARS.)

Marcus had fun too, although I had to color and cut out his tangrams myself.

Uh-oh: Marcus' inherent perfectionism strikes again! The tangrams moved a tiny bit, and he scattered them all in frustration. This is like when he tries to trace lines, then gets upset if they aren't exactly perfect.
