Before we get to the turkey...here's version two of the paleo buns. I made them in a muffin top pan. See how short they are? The kids are loving these for sandwiches.
Marcus decided to build the word "Constantinople". He started out okay, but then got a little silly. Hey, he's not even four yet. Cut him some slack. I didn't realize until just now that one of the letters is upside down.
Right when Marcus gets interested in tracing, StartWrite releases a new version with an outline font. He is super excited to be tracing inside an outline.
Stu bought a new camera. Look, you can see every hair on the cat!
What am I doing posting a no-makeup picture of me? I found Stu snapping pictures in the kitchen. At least I don't look all that old in this picture. Ever since I lost all that weight, I'm having a hard time finding pictures where I don't look ancient.
And then I started playing around while Stu was smoking the turkey. Ah, youth! My preferred subject is 36 years younger than me.
Gosh, he's cute.
I made those chocolate almond butter cups again, minus the almond butter. They are a little messy.
Did I mention that the candies were messy, and Marcus is cute? How about that I'm just using automatic settings on Stu's new camera?
See that dimple? He got that from his dad. Stuart has the dimples, too.
He knows how cute he is, too.
"Stop! No more pictures!"
"Mommy, I said, no more pictures!"
Stu was outside, smoking the Thanksgiving turkey. The first year he smoked the turkey, I was pregnant with Stuart and the weather was gorgeous. Warm and dry. I was able to go out and get a picture of him with the turkey on the grill. Not since then! Every year he has grilled the turkey, and every year I stand on the side porch and try to snap a picture without getting the camera wet. This year was no exception.
Oops, I took another picture of Marcus!
Maybe I should stop accosting my family with the camera.
Nah. Here is the turkey, in the dry. Also, the chef. That husband of mine can smoke a turkey.
Look, he ate it, bones and all!
