Fake words and real math.

Just some pictures.  First, both boys climbing a tree in our backyard.



Marcus makes up fake words, we call it phonics. He couldn't find an x so he made one out of his brother's K'Nex pieces.



While Stuart does math work.

This was really getting rather out of hand.



So studious, his big brother, doing real math problems.



You guessed it. Now the fake words are getting longer.



Stuart has tried and failed to get Marcus to build real words.



Marcus seeks real words from books, ends up scattering Bob books hither and yon.



Meanwhile Stuart colors Julius Caesar's flesh all the colors of the rainbow.



Look, Marcus has a giant arm!
